As part of Remote-Learner’s esteemed Lunch & Learn series, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Don Tharp, Director of Training and Education for the Council of Petroleum Accountants Society (COPAS), will join Justin Williams in a live demonstration of what COPAS and Remote-Learner have developed for their online training platform. Learn firsthand how COPAS located and overcame online training hurdles with unique and easy-to-integrate Remote-Learner solutions.

Don Tharp joined COPAS as our Director of Training and Education May 2014.
Don arrived at COPAS from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, School of Public Affairs working as the Educational Technologist and faculty member. He was responsible for faculty development, LMS administration, IT, classroom and online course design, social media work, web design and teaching. Previously he worked for Lockheed Martin (Training and Logistics Systems) for 2.5 years designing training and learning systems for customers around the world.
Before working with Lockheed Martin, Don served in the Air Force for 28 years. Over his 28-year career, he has flown the F-4 Phantom Fighter-jet, taught at the US Air Force Academy twice, completed his Ph.D. in Educational Technology at the University of Northern Colorado, worked with the US Army with multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan, and commanded at both the squadron and group levels. He finished his career at Air University as the Associate Dean – Air Force Research Institute, Chief of Future Learning, and Associate Professor responsible for leading the integration of technology across Air Force learning communities.
Justin Williams possesses almost a decade of experience with educational technology software, Learning Management Solutions (LMS), Learning Content Management Systems
(LCMS), and more. Williams has helped craft unique solutions for clients including Royal Caribbean, Ashley Furniture Industries, and General Dynamics. He improved facets related to organizational skills, competency, and proficiency in on-demand digital learning environments.
