Remote Learner Adds Innovative Engagement Capabilities To Its Digital Learning Environments

Remote Learner is pleased to announce the formalization of its strategic technology partnership with Mootivation Technologies. The companies have worked together for nearly a year to deliver best-in-class engagement solutions for Remote Learner’s clients. The formalization of their partnership reflects a shared vision for delivering innovative technologies for organizations looking to foster mastery, improving completion rates, and engage learners in a timely manner.

Remote Learner now offers two engagement platforms, Mootivated for schools and Motrain for corporate learning environments. Both solutions incorporate gamification and persuasive design by allowing users to earn virtual coins for their learning through activity and course completion and gives them choice on how to spend their earnings. The flagship to the platforms is a store managed by the organization through a dashboard, where opportunities or real items can be made available for learners to purchase with their coins. Organizations with multiple divisions can share a Totara Learn or Moodle site and have their own unique platform by using the Section feature, maximizing the level of personalization.

“I am ecstatic to formalize our partnership with Remote Learner, as these engagement platforms perfectly compliment their persuasive design strategies,” said Jeff Campbell, Founder and Director of Mootivation Technologies. “Motrain is an unparalleled engagement solution for organizations looking to improve learning while strengthening their personal connections to employees. We look forward to continuing our work with Remote Learner, helping more organizations find creative ways to use our platform to get the most out of their learning environments.”

“Remote Learner is committed to providing our clients with digital learning environments that make an impact and we believe gamification, motivation, and engagement strategies to be critical to that effort,” said Ron Olsen, CEO of Remote Learner. “We are excited about our formalizing our partnership with Mootivation Technologies, solidifying a long history of collaboration between our organizations.”
