Denver, CO June 13, 2017—Remote-Learner, experts in the design and delivery of eLearning solutions built on open source platforms including Moodle™, Totara™ and Mahara™, named Dr. Page Chen as President of the company. Dr. Chen will hold dual roles, maintaining her previous role as Chief Innovation Officer, leading the product, development and managed services teams.

With a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and a PhD in Instructional Design for Online Learning, Dr. Chen has been designing “out of the box” solutions for a wide variety of industries for over 20 years. Her research, which concerned improving learner mastery by focusing on how techniques that incorporate interactive technologies from other fields could also be integrated into eLearning platforms, has been incorporated throughout the expanded service and product offerings of the company. Using the principles of proven behavioral design and persuasive technology techniques, Chen and her teams have developed a collection of products and instructional strategies that have had a transformational impact on the learner experience.

“Page has been instrumental in driving the transformation of Remote-Learner and our impact-oriented approach to delivering effective digital learning environments. Her new role as President is the natural continuation of her company-wide leadership efforts and provides her with a greater ability to drive success for, and with, our clients,” said Ron Olsen, CEO of Remote-Learner.

Staying attuned to the shifting landscape in the eLearning market, Remote-Learner has leveraged a team of in-house experts to better serve and support their clients’ unique needs. Chen’s expanded role as President comes at a significant time, as the company continues to build momentum in emphasizing the importance of a strategic approach to designing effective learning programs.

“Having been with Remote-Learner for over seven years, I’ve seen the company grow and morph in response to dynamic market needs. I’m excited to take on this role and help Remote-Learner execute on this new phase of innovation and growth,” said Chen.
