Remote-Learner (RL) was excited to partner with the Online Learning Consortium this year to host the OLC Innovate Conference in New Orleans last week. As the city of New Orleans prepared for the first weekend of Jazz Fest, educators from around the world also gathered there to collaborate on innovative strategies that directly impact blended and online learning.
RL sent a small team to New Orleans. Chris Megahan and Mark McCall covered the RL presence on the convention floor while Amy Kotwitz and Shelly McCollum attended sessions, gauging the current climate of the Digital Learning Environment from the educators’ perspective and discovering new techniques to share with RL Clients. The team connected with some clients during the show and met some new prospects that are in the market for an LMS.
The Online Learning Consortium (OLC) is the leading professional organization devoted to advancing quality online learning by providing professional development, instruction, best practice publications, and guidance to educators, online learning professionals and organizations around the world.
